Vietnamese-American Man Faces Deportation For Anti-Communists Act

Whether a Vietnamese immigrant who punched a high-ranking Vietnamese official last year will be deported is again up in the air.

Tuan Phuoc Le, 35, was sentenced to nine months in prison last year with credit for time served for punching Nguyen Quoc Huy, vice chairman of the Vietnamese prime minister’s office, during a protest at the Willard Intercontinental Hotel in Northwest in June 2005.
